The 2019 Kansas City Kidney Walk to benefit the National Kidney Foundation.
The Kidney Walk is the nation’s largest fundraiser to fight kidney disease. More than 80 cents of every dollar raised directly supports NKF programs and services for kidney patients, their families, and those at risk.

Berkley Riverfront Park
The National Kidney Foundation’s annual Kansas City Kidney Walk is set to kick off from Berkley Riverfront Park on September 28th. Over 1,000 people are expected to attend the event to raise awareness of kidney disease, organ donation and the importance of early screening and healthy lifestyle for those at risk. Fox 4 KC’s Matt Stewart will be emceeing the event. This year’s Kidney Walk will be led by 5-year-old Lilyana Sinthusy and her family. After a very scary emergency room visit, 7 day old Lilyana was found to be going into heart, respiratory, and acute kidney failures, and had to be placed on 24-hour dialysis for 7 days.
