The thrill of victory…the agony of being a diver from the  Philippines. While the Americans and Chinese feature some of the best divers in the world, it’s the Philippine team, which failed to qualify for the Olympics, who are fan favorites throughout the world. So much style, precision and grace. So much pain….

So while it was awesome to see David Boudia and Steele Johnson nab the Silver in synchronized diving last night, if the Olympics wants real ratings they need to bring the “splash brothers” to Rio. Despite their epic fails, you can’t help for root for these two. Still giving each other a high-five after scoring a perfect 0.0. There’s no doubt the level of skill it takes to perform these dives. And we don’t mean to laugh, we really don’t. But thank you Philippines diving team for excelling in making our day.
